The Tomlinson Organisation will require the services of a butler
for the duration of 1998's Glastonbury Festival. Having reached a
certain station in life, it is the intention of Messrs Tomlinson,
Kirkwood, Reicheldt & Stimpson to enjoy all aspects of the
'98 Glastonbury Festival from the cosseted comfort of what our
New World cousins refer to as a "recreational vehicle"
(RV) or "Winnebago".
Duties will be light -
including the preparations of light breakfasts at a reasonable
hour, maintaining a small "onboard" wine cellar and
keeping bar (a passing acquaintance with some of the more popular
cocktails with today's modern set should be considered an
advantage), set out the garden furniture in time for our return
from a day's festival/rock and roll revelries of an evening, some
requirement to keep the RV in serviceable order. For the duration
of the festival there will also be a requirement to answer to a
suitably butlerish name, such as "Forsyth" or
"Carrington"
Remuneration will be
commensurate with experience and ability, although the base
package will consist of free transport to and from the festival,
a free full 3 day pass, a daily food allowance and free quarters
by way of a tent.
Interested parties should make their candidacy known, in the
first instance, by filling out the form below...
